Waterproofing Systems

ALKA COATINGS / ARCHITECTS & SPECIFIERS

Waterproofing systems for the way the area is used.

Four clear layer schedules for tiled wet areas, pedestrian decks, vehicle traffic and specialist spray polyurea. Compare the intended exposure, then open each system for its schematic, product sequence and specification hold points.

Explore four systems
01 / Define the exposureIs the membrane tiled, exposed, partly covered or subject to traffic?
02 / Design every interfaceFalls, drains, joints, thresholds and penetrations determine continuity.
03 / Confirm the complete buildUse the current product data and project-specific ALKA approval.

Application images are AI-generated illustrations, not photographs of completed ALKA projects. Use each system page and current technical documents to confirm suitability for the project.

Specification starts beyond the membrane.

Provide drawings and conditions for substrate, falls, drainage, movement joints, penetrations, thresholds, exposure and surface finish. The NCC wet-area provisions and external waterproofing requirements, including AS 3740 and AS 4654 where applicable, must be checked for the building and jurisdiction. A listed build alone does not certify the assembly.
