1-Componenet, Thermoplastic Acrylic Etch Primer

Industrial Etch Primer is a fast-drying, single-pack thermoplastic acrylic coating designed to provide excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance on ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates. The product incorporates active anti-corrosive pigments and surface etching properties to enhance substrate bonding and coating durability.

Storage conditions

Store away from direct sunlight and away from naked flames, sparks, and heating.

Application

Layer thickness
Recommended coating thickness is approximately 40-60 microns per coat

Dry Time
Touch dry in 10-15 minutes

Recoat time (at 25 C)
Re-coatable: 30-60 minutes

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Conventional spray
Airless spray
Brush or roller for small areas and touch-up work
Temperature: 10°C – 40°C
Relative Humidity: Below 85%
Thinner: Toluene / Xylene blend
Equipment cleaning: Same as thinner

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT
Xylene can be used for cleaning tools and equipment before the mixed compound begins to harden. Once cured, it can only be removed mechanically.
