ALKA can review substrate information, service conditions, exposure, traffic, cleaning, temperature, programme and available drawings before a coating system is recommended.

Specification and system build-up

Where sufficient verified information is available, the technical team can assist with the proposed preparation standard, primer, body coat, lining or topcoat sequence, nominal thickness and relevant quality control hold points.

Testing and quality control

• Substrate condition and moisture assessment requirements
• Surface preparation and profile verification
• Adhesion, thickness, continuity or electrical resistance testing where specified
• Batch traceability and product records
• Application conditions and cure records
• Defect review and closeout documentation

Testing scope, acceptance criteria and third-party involvement must be agreed for each project. No certification or performance claim should be assumed unless supported by current documentation and the confirmed system.
