ALKA-918 is a high-performance novolac chemical-resistant lining system engineered for concrete and steel assets exposed to aggressive wastewater, corrosive chemicals and immersion conditions.

The system combines an ALKA-105 primer/consolidation coat with AlkaTankline 100 or Alka-Acid 98 novolac/acid-resistant lining to create a high-build protective barrier against chemical attack and corrosion.

Designed for demanding infrastructure and industrial environments, ALKA-918 provides significantly higher chemical resistance than standard epoxy systems where exposure to wastewater, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), sulfuric acid formation and aggressive process chemicals is expected.

SYSTEM BUILD-UP

ALKA-918 is a high-performance protective lining system applied over correctly prepared concrete or steel substrates.

For concrete, the system typically consists of an ALKA-105 primer/consolidation coat, followed by AlkaTankline 100 or Alka-Acid 98 as the high-build novolac/acid-resistant protective lining.

Surface preparation and final lining thickness should be selected according to the substrate condition, chemical concentration, operating temperature and immersion conditions.
